SEEDS & SAPLINGS

Seeds & Saplings is a Glasgow based plant nursery, candle maker and store for those who would rather be in the great green outdoors. We raise and sell our own plants, design and pour our own candles and are constantly growing to add new products you’ll love. It started with a simple Etsy store selling seedpaper greetings cards as an environmental alternative to mass produced ones. Then before I knew it, the plum tree in my garden was giving me 500 plums and I refused to waste one. So I sold the seeds, made preserves and still carry this philosophy of having as little impact as possible with all my products. Some houseplants were rescued, cuttings were made and I couldn’t find a candle scent I wanted, so I made it! 

Since then we have grown to having our own website and as of July 2024, are trading at the famous Barras Market on weekends in Glasgow’s Gallowgate. Find us just off Gallowgate under the Barrowlands Ballroom sign.
